DRIWORKS uses personal data to register, assess, train, verify and connect professional drivers with appropriate workforce opportunities, and to deliver related services to employers and fleet operators. We do not sell personal data.

1. Who we are

DRIWORKS is a driver workforce solutions platform operated by Se7en Solutions Limited. In this Privacy Policy, "DRIWORKS", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Se7en Solutions Limited in its operation of DRIWORKS. For the personal data covered by this Policy, Se7en Solutions Limited generally acts as the data controller.

This Policy applies to information collected through driworks.ng, DRIWORKS forms and applications, Facebook and other social-media lead forms, recruitment and onboarding processes, training and assessment activities, and our driver workforce, fleet-safety and related services.

2. Personal data we collect

Depending on how you interact with DRIWORKS, we may collect:

  • Identity and contact information, such as your name, telephone number, email address, home or contact address and general location.
  • Recruitment and professional information, such as employment history, driving experience, licence category, work preferences, availability, qualifications, certifications, references and preferred work location.
  • Verification and assessment information, such as driver's-licence details, identity documents, training records, evaluation results, risk indicators and other information reasonably required to confirm suitability.
  • Employer and client information, including business contact details, workforce requirements, placement records and communications.
  • Account and service information, including profile details, course progress, continuing professional development records, support requests and transaction records.
  • Technical information, such as IP address, device and browser information, cookies, log data and information about how our website or platform is used.
  • Communications and marketing preferences, including messages, enquiries, feedback and your choices about receiving updates.

3. How we obtain personal data

We may obtain personal data directly from you; from forms you submit on Facebook, Instagram or other platforms; from employers, clients, referees or organisations involved in a placement; from training, assessment and verification partners; and from public or other lawful sources where appropriate. If another person gives us your information, we expect them to have authority or another lawful basis to do so.

4. How we use personal data

We use personal data for the following purposes:

  • To respond to enquiries and register your interest in DRIWORKS services or professional driving opportunities.
  • To create and maintain driver, employer or client profiles.
  • To evaluate skills, experience, qualifications, licence status, training needs, suitability and workforce risk.
  • To provide training, certification support, continuing professional development and related learning services.
  • To match drivers with potential employers or assignments and to support recruitment, outsourcing, deployment and workforce management.
  • To provide driver verification, fleet-safety and performance-management services.
  • To operate, secure, analyse and improve our website, platform and services.
  • To communicate service information and, where permitted, relevant opportunities or marketing messages.
  • To prevent fraud, investigate misuse, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and comply with applicable law.

Submitting a form or registering with DRIWORKS does not guarantee employment or placement. Opportunities depend on client requirements, available vacancies and successful screening.

5. Lawful bases for processing

We process personal data only where we have a lawful basis. Depending on the activity, this may include your consent; taking steps at your request before entering into a contract; performing a contract with you or a client; complying with a legal obligation; or pursuing legitimate interests such as operating a secure recruitment and workforce service, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

6. Assessments and automated tools

DRIWORKS may use structured assessments, scoring or technology-assisted tools to support training, screening, matching and risk management. These tools may inform a decision but, where a decision could have a significant effect on you, we aim to provide appropriate human review and a way for you to raise concerns or correct inaccurate information.

7. When we share personal data

We may share relevant personal data with:

  • Prospective or current employers, clients and authorised workforce managers where necessary for recruitment, screening, placement, deployment or service delivery.
  • Training, assessment, identity, licence, background-verification and professional-service partners.
  • Technology, hosting, communications, payment, analytics and support providers that process data for us under appropriate obligations.
  • Regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or other authorities where disclosure is required or permitted by law.
  • A buyer, investor, successor or adviser in connection with a genuine business reorganisation or transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal data. We disclose only information that is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose and require recipients to handle it appropriately.

8. International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside Nigeria. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to use a transfer mechanism and safeguards recognised by applicable Nigerian data-protection law, and to ensure an appropriate level of protection.

9. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including recruitment, service delivery, legal, accounting, dispute-resolution and security needs. Retention periods vary by record type and may be extended where required by law, an active claim, an investigation or your ongoing relationship with us.

As a general guide, an uncompleted enquiry or lead may be kept for up to 12 months; an inactive applicant or driver profile may be kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction; and contractual, placement, payment, assessment or compliance records may be kept for up to six years or for any longer period required by law. We may retain de-identified information that can no longer reasonably identify you.

10. Security and data breaches

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures designed to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. No system is completely secure, but we review safeguards in light of the nature of the information and the risks involved. Where a qualifying personal-data breach occurs, we will take appropriate steps and notify affected persons and the Nigeria Data Protection Commission when required.

11. Your rights

Subject to applicable law and any valid limitations, you may have the right to:

  • Ask whether we process your personal data and request access to it.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion, restriction or portability of personal data in appropriate circumstances.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing.
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
  • Ask for human review of a significant decision made solely by automated means, where applicable.
  • Complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

To exercise a right, contact us using the details in section 17. We may need to verify your identity and may ask for information needed to locate your records. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

12. Marketing choices

You may opt out of promotional email, SMS or similar messages by using the unsubscribe method provided or by contacting us. We may still send non-promotional messages necessary to respond to you, manage an application or provide a requested service.

13. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for functionality, security, preferences and analytics. Where required, we will request consent for non-essential cookies. You may also control cookies through your browser settings, although disabling some cookies may affect website functionality.

14. Children

DRIWORKS' driver recruitment and workforce services are intended for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children for these services. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

15. Third-party services and links

Our website and communications may link to third-party services, including social-media platforms. Those services have their own privacy practices. This Policy does not control how an independent third party processes personal data.

16. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, technology or legal obligations. The current version will be posted on our website with its effective date. Where a change is material, we may provide an additional notice where appropriate.
